Puppy Training
Creating a foundation of basic skills is hard work when you get a new puppy!!! It takes more patience and time than most have to truly set them up for success forever while they are still in that sponge (yet highly unfocused and distracted) state. They should be exploring and learning the world in a safe and constantly guided manner, and have rules added when and where it's appropriate. That work evolves and continues throughout the first couple years of their life, although guidance decreases greatly and rules are understood. BeLoved has you covered whether your'e wanting to obtain the information and support to do it on your own, or hire a professional to help you lay the ground work by taking your puppy for a board and train in a home setting.
Please keep in mind, there is still plenty of work needed and necessary when your puppy returns home. You will be given all the tools as well as time from your trainer necessary for success! A home setting provides major advantages and opportunities to work on things they will encounter in their daily lives, but it doesn't remove the need for knowledge and application from the owner themselves.

Solo Day Training
This day is designed for your dog to get all the quality time they need while giving you a break from the day to day struggles of balancing you and your fur babies life. Sometimes it helps to give you and your dog a fresh take, and come back together after having worked on yourselves separately.
This day is meant to work on any of their triggers, work past fears, expose them to new things (build confidence), work on drive and motivation, channel focus, and practice a neutral state of mind in any challenging setting...and of course, pamper and show them lots of love! The day is dedicated to solo work with them on whatever they need in and out of a home setting. I never push a dog past what they're reasonably comfortable with, so it will be up to them on how quickly they can make progress with their "issues". They will not be mixed with other dogs or join group training unless requested. The only time they are on their own is while they sleep, which is necessary for how much training is packed into their day! And most importantly, a plan for success for the owner to continue the progress they made on their big day out.
Pickup/drop-off 9am-5pm, and includes an hour drop-off training session to go over everything the dog learned for the day and how to continue moving forward. If the owner is unavailable at the dropoff time, a video session can be arranged instead. $300/day.

Sharla has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember, and always found herself surrounded by them. Her lifelong interest in dog psychology has served to build a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in training. Committed to providing the most effective, individualized solutions to her clients’ dog training needs, Sharla seeks to empower her clients and equip them with confidence and tools to ensure ongoing success in their relationships with their dogs. Sharla avidly pursues ongoing education and professional development to evolve and expand her skillset to develop creative, effective, healthy, and fun techniques for her clients.
When not helping clients find enjoyment in life with their canine companions, Sharla is actively involved in dog rescue by fostering, rehabilitating, networking, and spreading awareness about shelter dogs. Although her training is focused on using rewards-based techniques to build confidence, as well as facilitate and teach new behaviors and commands, she uses a variety of tools to address the individual needs of each dog. Training should be enjoyable for the dogs and their owners, and all methods used reflect this belief.
